JUST FOR FUN CHALLENGE #19
(Light Blue, Brown & Cream)

"Gone Fishing"

For this card, the paper I used is all (MME) "Just Dreamy 2" Dashing Dots (brown) & Delightful Unique (plaid); and "Penny Lane" Free Bird (blue).
As always edges are chalked with (CB) Chestnut Roan.
The fishing girl is from (JFF) Pin Up Girls UMS7006, and is stamped with (Memento) Tuxedo Black, so I could color it with my (Copic) markers *colors used at end of post.
My "scrabble tiles" are from (JFF) Alphabet Sheet UMS7000. I stamped them with (SU) Chocolate Chip, air brushed them with copic markers and then added the #'s (from Scrabble). They are adhered to the card with pop-up dots, so I could "weave" my fishing line (thread)through the word "Fishing." I had intended to sew around the card, but I ended up dong this at 11pm last night, and I don't see too well to sew at night, so it is what it is! :)
Finishing touches are: brads, ribbon & button from my stash.

*Cpoics used: E29 Burnt Umber, BG45 Nile Blue, E01 Pink Flamingo, Y06 Yellow & R29 Lipstick Red

  1. I love the plaid paper you used in the background and you did a great job in coloring the image. I struggle with that part...Copics are not my strong point! Lovely job!
