MME Signature Christmas paper

QuicKutz photo corners

Tim Holtz's distress ink "antique linen"

Crafty Secrets vintage image Christmas

3D foam squares by 3L

flower, ribbon & lace from my stash

So....ATC's are 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (think baseball card). Note: All edges are inked and set aside to dry. After you've cut your base, add the CS image. Next add lace and ribbon. The photo corner is added with the 3D foam squares. Now just add your finishing bling!

Quick and easy...and cute! :)

Be sure to check out our blog at: and play along with us by designing your own ATC card.

Crafty Secrets "creative scraps"--Christmas

American Crafts "be jolly" paper

Quick Kutz "holly leaves & berries" (not sure the actual die name)

Prima E pearls

Tim Holtz "distress ink" Antique Linen

All these supplies can be found on CMIT e-bay store:

The rest of the goodies were from my stash: lace, ribbon, and 3D foam squares by 3L and solid red & green paper.

I LOVE this card!!! And was easy to make. The dies make all the difference. They can make a card look so beautiful and time consuming to make, when really it makes it a whole lot easier and fairly quick!

Supply List:
Paper: American Craft "be jolly"
Quick Kutz dies: "Santa stop here" & "Holiday" (I used the Santa from this set)
Zip dry by Beacon Adhesive
3D foam squares by 3L
Copic marker: YR01 Peach Puff
Tim Holtz distress ink "old paper"
Door hanger ($1 bin at Michael's)
Basic Grey precision file set
Buttons & Ribbon from my stash

Well, it's the first Friday of the month so it's time once again for my monthly tutorial for CMIT. I love this Santa stop sign, but had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do with it until I seen this door hanger and thought this would be a cute idea. This is even a project you could do with your kids/grandkids.

I apologize in advance for the dark photos. I started this project at night and since I took step-by-step photos, they are not the best, due to the lighting. But I think you'll follow along ok. :)

Not all supplies are listed in this photo since I added things as I went along) sorry!

Adhere paper to door hanger. Trim as close as you can to the edge and then sand. note: sand paper will work just fine for this if you don't have a file kit. Using an exacto knife, cut out the center circle and sand. Repeat on the other side. Trust me---it will bug you that it's unfinished, so just finish it! :)

Ink all edges with distress ink. Then add "present" to door hanger.

Cut out all dies being used (Stop sign) & (Santa). Color pieces if needed (Copic for Santa), and ink edges, let dry.

Assemble all pieces and add to door hanger. Santa has 3D foam squares behind him. Add any finishing touches (buttons).

I hope you like this project today, I thought it was something fun and different. :)
