"Shades of Brown---Coffee Beans"

For this challenge the obvious choice for me was Browns. What can I say, I was inspired by my coffee beans. :)

All paper is from (HL), but I don't know the shades, they weren't listed. All stamps are from the Coffee set (JFF UMS7014), and are stamped using Chocoltae chip (SU), except for the coffee bean cluster background; that was stamped using VersaMark (HL). My "window frame" was created using the Large Deckled Rectangles (Spellbinders S4-202). One in brown and cream. The sign was made from the inside pieces of the frames. The coffee beans are in a small bag that I glued to the frame. Pop up dots were used behind the frame, coffee cup and spoon.
Like the "dots" border? It's the backing from a piece of Magic Mesh. I guess it missed the trash can, I found it on my desk and thought "that'd be perfect!" You never know what you'll use!!!
Accents are: Haute ribbon (AC), Cabochons (MR), eyelets (MM) and a button & hemp from my stash.

  1. Rita, I just love your card! You nailed the challenge! I love all the texture and elements on your card! Great job sista!!

  2. This is just wonderful, Rita! I love all the shades of browns and the fact that you used coffee beans!! Too cool!

  3. Sigh - I love brown Monochromatic cards!!! That coffee bean window is very creative - love the dots too! Now here is my secret - I don't like coffee - not at all - I'm more of a green tea person!

  4. Hey Sis, I will now choose something else..he he I had this card all layed out in my brain and guess what it all involved the same elements so I will go back to the creating table. love all of the elements you used and love the coffee bean touch. Great rocked it!!!

  5. I'm tellin' ya~~great minds must think alike 'cause I had the idea to use this set too!! (wasn't clever enough to think of using actual coffee beans!!)....hmmmm, will have to see what actually gets made!!
