This is a birthday card I made using the Spellbinder's Label 1 die. I just bought it, and I love it!

My Birthday Card

My husband made me this card last night, for my birthday. I think he's having way too much fun using my cricut, cropodile and other various scrapbooking supplies though.
But it's the thought that counts, and seeing him get frustrated over gluing the letters was quite funny! :)

Stained Glass Card

I made this card using the "stained glass technique." You stamp an image with embossing ink & powder on vellum paper. Let it dry, then color the image in with marker, and let that dry. Then you glue the embossed image to your cardstock (so that the smooth side is facing up). I also added ribbon, and "chalked" around the edges.

A Special Valentine Card


My husband, Greg, asked me to show him how to use my Cricut. I did. And he used it to make me this very colorful valentine card.

Birthday Cards

Today I made a 8 1/2" x 11" l.o. of my daughter's 8 month picture. I'm currently scrapbooking her pictures by "months." I took pictures on the days when she was 1, 2 & 3 weeks old; then pictures every month until her 1st birthday.

My mom did this with my baby album, and I thought it was a great idea! I've done it with my son's baby album, and now I'm doing it with my daughter's. I think it's a great way to see how much they change from one month to the next.

This is the birthday card that I just made for my niece, Leahandra. She will be 1 year old on February 3rd. I thought a princess card would be cute to make.

SKETCH BOOK

This is my sketchbook, that I keep all my card and layout designs in. I bought a black-spined notebook on sale at H.L., and recovered it in cardstock that I liked, also from H.L.

The "MY" is a piece of cardboard that I cut out and covered with cardstock. I then sanded and inked the edges with black ink. As you can see I also added rhinestones to jazz it up a bit.

These are my latest 8 1/2" by 11" scrapbook pages of my daughter. I have been working on her baby album the past few days. She is 2 years old---and I still don't have her baby pictures done yet! someday. . . maybe. :)

These are a few of the Wedding Photo Albums that I have made. They are all Satin & Lace, and each one has a heart-shaped photo frame on the front, that they can insert a picture into.

ALTOID TIN CALENDAR

I started this project by scanning a pocket sized calendar into my computer. Next, I blew it up to a bigger size. Then I used my Spellbinder's Wizard to flatten an Altoid can---all to make this "magnetic fridge calendar." Hope you like it!

Accessories: "Typewriter Keys" stamp & ribbon from Close To My Heart, eyelets & pop-up dots from Hobby Lobby

I glued the bottom piece of cardstock, after inking it with chalk, to a piece of cardboard for stability. Then I cut and distressed each layer of paper. Next, I used my Cropodile to set eyelets, and also to cut holes, in the tin and cardstock, for the ribbon to go through. The stamped letters have pop-up dots underneath them to make them stand out. All I have to do now is attach a magnetic strip to the back---and then it is finished.
