This is the card I made for our last Stampin' Up card exchange. Unfortunately, Karen (our S.U. Consultant), got sick---so she was unable to make it to our get together. So, instead of canceling we all met at my house anyways and made cards all day! We also went ahead with our card exchange.
This card was made using my Stampin' Up stamp set: Asian Artistry (and I colored it with copic markers for a watercolor effect). I also used my Versamark pad for the background (dragonflies and saying), and of course my Spellbinders dies: S4-202 Deckled Rect. ~ Lg. & S4-168 Large Labels.
So, here are some pictures of (me), and all my goodies from Spellbinders' Pendant Project Conetest. BIG Thank you to all the companies that gave out prizes----Spellbinders, My Mind's Eye, Clear Snap, Core`dinations, Just Rite & 3L Adhesives. I am in heaven!!! :)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Tonight was my first "Creative Crafts" class at Hobby Lobby. These are the two cards that we made.
The first card uses Spellbinders die #S4-129 Classic Scalloped Squares ~ small; and the second uses #S4-159 Nested Flower.

Next class is Sept. 25 @ 5:30 p.m. in the classroom at Hobby Lobby (in the back by the art department). So if you're in the Grand Junction area come and make cards with me!

So I recently went back to Angelo's (our local paint your own pottery studio), and they had the Margarita glasses in stock. Of course, I HAD to paint one!!! :)
My son, Caden thinks it's funny that I'm a drink and a pizza----"You could be a whole meal!" Yes son, I could!

I also love dragonflys, so I decided to try and draw one on a cup (there's 3 on here actually). This burgundy paint actually has black specks in it, they're a little hard to see in the pic., but they look really neat!

Next time, I want to learn to melt glass! :)

These are 2 projects I made for the Tattered Angels Design Team (tryouts), using glimmer mist of course!

The card was made using: Spellbinders Renaissance Hearts Pendant die, Colorsnaps "smooch" in Pumpkin, Robin's Nest dew drop in Black, Glimmer Mist in Raven, Stampin' Up (saying) and various paper, ribbon & a button I had laying around.

I love the way this photo frame turned out!!! My husband and I attended the Renaissance Faire last year, but I've yet to do anything with the pictures, until now. This is a $1 wooden frame from Michaels that I painted a "wine red" color, then covered in D.C.W.V. "Once Upon a Time" paper. The torn edge paper is sprayed with "haunted shadow" glimmer mist, and the fairies wings are highlighted with clearsnaps "smooch" in gold. I also added some ribbon, brads and charms that I've been "saving for the perfect thing!" The sign at the bottom was made using Spellbinders Label 8 die and a gold marker.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! I am in the top 5 for Spellbinders Pendant Project Contest! :) They just announced it on their blog this morning. So, you can check it out @ spellbinders.us (click on the BLOG heading at the top of the page). It's alphabetical by first name, so I'm #2.
They chose my "Heritage" mini album. (To see the whole album, keep scrolling down on my blog, Spellbinders only posted the front & back page).
August 20 I'll know if I won the grand prize, which is $500 worth of dies, a die case & products from other companies, or 2-5 place which is $100 worth of dies. It's through random.org., so they don't actually pick the winner----I've just got to think positive that it'll be me! :)
Whatever happens. . . they chose me, my work is posted on their blog, and I'm guranteed $100 worth of dies---not to bad if you ask me!!!

Guess who's going to be teaching scrap-booking/card-making classes (using the Wizard of course) at Hobby Lobby??? ME!!!!!!!!! :)
I have signed up to teach classes on (every other) Friday night from 5:30 - 8:00, at H.L., starting September 11. I am soooo excited!!!
So, now I just have to make a sign, advertising my class, and some sample cards or layouts, for H.L. to display for me. Hopefully I'll get some interest----H.L. is the only store here in G.J. that sells Spellbinder's dies, but they don't sell the Wizard.
I hope this goes well----I've never taught a class before! :(
As soon as I get my samples done, I will post them on my blog.
I love this card! I'm not usually a big fan of flowers, but I LOVE fall colors, so this works for me. :) Of course I chalked all the edges (I even chalked the felt flowers in the bottom right corner). A bit obsessive, I know---but chalk makes everything look better!!! :)
Today is my Dad's birthday, so I thought I would post the card I made for him. It's soooo hard making a card for a guy. I LOVE adding embellishments to EVERYTHING-----and that really doesn't work for a guy's card too well!

So, the following 3 entries on my blog are projects I made for Spellbinder's Pendant Projects Contest. I think they turned out fantastic!!! I'm sitting on pins & needles now waiting to see if I'm one of the final 5---August 17, I'll know. If so. . . then I have to mail my entries to Spellbinders, and a panel of judges will pick the winner and that will be announced on August 20. Too long to wait!!!!! :)
